We are a currently small company, specialising in entertainment (web-based TV and Radio stationing) and Research&Development of new technologies.

 

We were initially founded in 2009 as “Tech~Link FM” and over the following years “Tech~Link TV” was launched creating the “Tech~Link FM / Tech~Link TV Co.”. Then in 2011/2012, we evolved to the 'Tech~Link Corporation' and finally in early 2013 we abbreviated it down to 'TLC' / 'TLC UK' / 'TLC - Tech Link Corporation'. It was at this point the two initial sectors became TLC Radio and TLC Radio.

 

 

TLC Productions was launched in mid-2013 following the addition to two youtube channels (Jordie8396 and RyanAwsom52), and their associated production companies (Jordie8396 Productions and AwsomSauce Productions), coming under the TLC umbrella. TLC Productions initially only produced content with and for Jordie8396 Productions and AswsomSauce Productions - But eventually took over productions at TLC TV by the end of 2014. It was also around this time when we launched a brand new sector:  Research & Development under the name The Maskinson Project, named so as the brains behind the idea is Ryan Masters ("Mas") Jordan Atkinson ("kinson"). In the TLC MaskinsonProject (as it became) we took risks to try and invent test and develop new technologies which will hopefully eventually benefit the public.

Late 2015 was a unsettled period for the Corporation, as this is when minor discrepancies began to arise between the AwsomSource Productions team and the supervisory TLC Productions team - eventually resulting in Awsomsauce Productions (and it’s associated Youtube channels) breaking away (As far as we are aware AwsomSauce Productions continued to produce relatively successful content for RyanAwsom52 until the channel closed in October 2016). Following this, the MaskinsonProject was closed down a number of factors including funding and staffing issues and the fact one of the founding member's hat moved away with Awsomsauce Productions.

 

Following the departure of Awsomsauce Productions, the TLC underwent a compleat restructuring, where TLC Productions now took control of both producing for TLC TV and TLC Radio. This was also when the Jordie8396 Co. was created, as an additional overseeing body for the Jordie8396 Productions (and associated YouTube Channels). under this new setup, TLC Productions oversees the productions side of the Jordie8396 Brand while the Jordie8396Co. oversees the other areas associated with the Jordie8396 Brand (while all still being under the TLC Umbrella).

 

Over the next couple of years, the Tech Link Corporation took a less active approach, only producing 2-3 videos a year through the Jordie8396 Productions branch.

This all changed in 2017, though, as this is when an influx of funding became available to the company and we launched our brand new 24/7 Radio Station in partnership with Radio.Co. under this new partnership, a compleat rebranding of the Radio Sector took place, with the final result being TLC Radio 24/7. At this time Jordie8396 Co. also launched our brand new web-development company: Jordie8396 WebSolutions, following the upgrades to our website that we conducted by the team that became Jordie8396 WebSolutions.

And now we reach today; TLC TV is still inactive pending funding and tech upgrades and increased staffing, while TLC Radio 24/7 has been broadcasting strong for over a year now!

However, after 21 months of broadcasting, in September 2019, we made the difficult decision to close the TLC Radio 24/7 project, mainly due to finances and insufficient listenership figures. We broadcast our last show, branded as "The Last Show Ever", between 3pm and Midnight on the 6th October 2019.
